For fire departments

They protect our communities. We want to help you protect their health.

Stage Zero helps people understand their cancer risk and navigate recommended precision screening. We’ll start with your department’s current health program and discuss where additional guidance or practical support could help.

Build on the program you already have.

Start with your physicals, precision screening services and healthcare providers. Together, we would define where additional support could help. These proposed services need an agreed scope before launch.

Understand what needs attention

Use relevant health and family history to help identify precision screening questions. Medical-record access would require agreed consent and permissions.

Get help with the next step

Help finding care or arranging appointments, with clear responsibilities for Stage Zero and existing providers. Clinical decisions stay with qualified healthcare professionals.

Know what happens next

Reminders and support when another provider takes over, limited to the steps Stage Zero can track and the follow-up responsibilities agreed.

Getting started

Start with your current program.

Bring someone who knows your department’s health program. No individual health records are needed for the first conversation.

  1. Discuss existing services

What is available today, and what happens after a recommendation?

  2. Agree on responsibilities

Define Stage Zero’s role alongside your providers and department contact.

  3. Plan implementation

Set communications, eligibility information, required reviews, timing and fees.

Privacy and cost

Clear expectations before launch.

What would the department see?

Proposed department reporting would use summary information, without individual health details. Consent, record access, reporting measures and small-group safeguards still need to be defined. Reporting would cover only activity Stage Zero can verify.

Some preventive precision screenings may cost $0.

Out-of-pocket costs depend on the health plan, test, eligibility and provider. Stage Zero program fees are separate. Read about preventive care coverage.
